So who's bought the new expansion? I haven't yet. Is it any good?

Welcome to The Sims Club!

First off, this is the first club I've made so I'm constantly revising and reworking this.

How do I join?
Send a note, subject: join.

What is The Sims Club?
It is a club for fans of The Sims (including all expansion packs and The Sims 2 and expansions) and hardcore Simmers.
It is a place to display snapshots of your best houses or Sims moments.


So what can I submit?
Pictures of your Sims in a custom made outfit, pictures of your Sims houses, and pictures of funny Sim events, as in a Sim in mid-jump or when the game has a small glitch, and the Sim winds up standing in the middle of their bed with only their head showing! (It's happened before! ) Also, drawings of floor plans or costumes for Sims.
There are two categories:
1. SimArt: houses, floor plans, costumes.
2. SimStuff: funny snapshots, 'easter eggs' (as in, Johnny Depp on the TV) - these pictures will go in scraps as they are not original creations.
Only high quality and appropriate pictures will be accepted. Please no blurry snapshots or random pictures, or pictures of your Sims just walking around, eating, or whatever.

How do I submit?
Upload a snapshot/screencap to YOUR gallery, and then send a note with a LINK, subject: submission. In the note, include what category it goes in (SimArt or SimStuff), and a description. If you don't include a description, I will use the one from the picture on your page. The picture will then be uploaded onto the Sims Club page, with a link to your page in the description.

Other Things:
No, I will not add any member works to favorites. (it violates club restrictions: read FAQ #216: Are there any rules for accounts being used as clubs or 'group' accounts?)
Please do not comment on works on the Club page, go to the original artist's page.

Will there be any contests?
Maybe in the future, if interest is expressed.

One of my biggest questions was how to save a shot from Sims 2 as a Jpeg, but I figured it out.
When you're in the game, hit print screen, exit/minimize the game, and paste the picture into any photo editing program (MSPaint works). Save as jpeg. Of course, you can only take one at a time and you may have to do some cropping to get rid of the red pause box and other unwanted elements.
